Can I attend medical appointments during lockdown? 

Yes. “You can leave home to receive health care or attend medical appointments. If you need to see a doctor or health care professional, you should do so. Do not put off getting medical care. Your doctor or health care professional can provide advice on how to stay safe.” DHHS Victoria.

Can I accompany someone for essential medical treatment if I am a parent, guardian or necessary support person?

Yes. “You can leave home to accompany someone for essential medical treatment if you are a parent, guardian or necessary support person.” DHHS Victoria.

Can I attend a medical appointment more than 5km from my home?

Yes. “The 5km limit does not apply to care and health care.”

Do I need to wear a mask to attend my appointment?

Yes. “Face masks will need to be worn indoors and outdoors whenever you leave your home.” DHHS Victoria.
